Second round of 10U and 12U Ambush tryouts will be this Friday 10/3 at Blanche Ames Softball Field. 10U 5pm, 12U 6pm. If anyone needs help getting players to tryouts, please email EGSLBoard@gmail.com and we will do our best to help.  Also, any prior EGSL coach who's free and would like to give us a hand running the tryout, we will never say no to help!

Have a great idea for our softball program and want to help improve it? Please join our board! Elections will be held in November for our 2026 EGSL Board. This is a volunteer run operation and we need motivated individuals who are available to make our rec and summer programs run smoothly.  Reach out to the board email for more information about time/commitment. As parents, coaches, volunteers and board members, EGSL is committed to providing all girls with an experience that fosters positive self-esteem, teamwork, and individual growth. We are committed to providing a positive softball environment for each player, cultivate her love of the game by teaching her the rules of fast-pitch softball and developing her softball knowledge and skills. We measure success in terms of your daughter being excited to play softball year after year.

The EGSL offers a travel team for players who wish to improve their skills throughout the year. The Ambush Teams will play in the Summer Hock League as well as compete in local summer weekend tournaments. This year we have a 10U, 12U and 14U team planned! Tryouts for 10U were last fall, but 12U and 14U will be held late April/early May.
