Welcome to Easton Girls Softball!
As parents, coaches, volunteers and board members, EGSL is committed to providing all girls with an experience that fosters positive self-esteem, teamwork, and individual growth.  We are committed to providing a positive softball environment for each player and to cultivate her love of the game by teaching her the rules of fast-pitch softball and developing her softball knowledge and skills. We measure success in terms of your daughter being excited to play softball year after year.

2020 Travel Team Info

2020 Travel Team tryouts have taken place. Thank you to all players who attended our 2020 Travel Team tryouts!  Roster evaluations are in process and players will be notified soon. If your player is interested in our 2020 Travel program please contact eastongirlssoftball@outlook.com to see if there is any availability or options for your player to participate.

We have exciting news to share with the EGSL community!  We will be enhancing our 2020 Summer Travel program.  After modeling many surrounding towns that have established softball programs, we know what it takes to elevate our girls to the next level of competition.  Holding tryouts in the fall allows the girls to practice and refine their fundamentals through the off-season.  EGSL is committed but not limited to offering:

  - Pitching Clinics
  - Hitting Clinics
  - Winter Workouts
  - Strength and Conditioning

EGSL utilizes the following coaches and trainers in our off season program.
   - Lindsey Allison - Current OA Varsity Softball Head Coach
   - Alyssa Verronneau - Former pitching coach Mass Maritime and 4 year starting pitcher BSU
   - Jenna Olem - Former at Whitman Hanson Varsity Softball Head Coach
   - Michele Cote - Former head coach Worcester State, 2016 MASCAC Coach of the year
   - Amy Silva - Athletic trainer, BS in Sports Medicine and Health Fitness

Our mission is to provide a positive softball environment for each player and to cultivate her love of the game by teaching the rules of fast-pitch softball and developing her softball knowledge and skills.  We measure success in terms of your daughter being excited to play softball year after year.  Our Travel Program is open to girls who are interested in playing competitive softball.  EGSL plays in the Hockomock Girls Summer Softball League and we are fortunate to be part of an established league that offers many teams and levels (A and B) to compete in.  Travel teams are also eligible for weekend tournaments in June and July-this is giving the girls a Club experience at a lower cost than most club teams.  We anticipate playing in 2-3 local tournaments and each team can opt to play in additional ones.

There is no fee or commitment to tryout. Total cost of the program will be determined after tryouts. EGSL fully intends to make this program affordable to every one of its players. We recognize time, cost and commitment are major factors in making decisions. This is why we will have full open discussions with all  members and chose the optimal “package” for each team.

2019 Easton Softball Survey

For those of you who's daughters participated in the 2019 Spring Recreational Softball season, we'd like you to take this quick survey to let us know how the program overall is doing.  The survey should take no more than a minute or 2 to complete.  We appreciate your feedback in order to build a stronger softball program for our Easton youth.  Thank you!

The survey can be found here.
